Building Relationships

It is not the grades you make, but the hands you shake. Your friendships and loved ones can sometimes be your most valued possessions in life. Building relationships with your friends, teammates, and others, can be hard at times. Teens always find themselves torn between relationships. We want to teach children how to have a good balance of personal, professional, and peer relationships. Teens sometimes struggle finding friends, and we want to teach them the power of friendship and how their peers are a representation of themselves. Building relationships is one the most crucial aspects of a teens life, and this workshop can be extremely beneficial to those in search of help.

Surviving and Thriving

Everyone in life has obstacles, however, everyone does not handle these obstacles in the same ways. Life can be like a camping trip, you have to take what you have been given and make the best out of it. If you think you are too small, too tall, too skinny, not smart enough, not cool enough, you have to rise to the challenge because people will love you for who you are, you just have to be yourself. We want to teach teens, the Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How's, of the business world. Public relation skills are vital. We want to stress efficiency and how to turn any situation into a positive one. Business owners and or employers are always looking for sharp, professional, and respectable men and women. An organization or company without the proper communication and relationship skills will never succeed.

Leadership For Dummies

What is the definition of leadership? We believe a leader is someone who is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, respectful, honorable, and an excellent role model for others. All those characteristics are molded to form the extremely complex word, "Leadership." This workshop will be an eye-opening course that will allow teens to begin thinking of themselves as leaders. This can be one of the most powerful transformations that one can go through. Being a good leader will help teens in all aspects of life and especially in business. Reaching For the Stars

We want to challenge our youth everyday to obtain the unthinkable and do the impossible. Teens need to learn to think big, and live big! Life is too short to just waste away with regrets, we want to motivate kids to live everyday as if it were their last. Reaching for the stars is a metaphor for never giving up and celebrating our freedom. It is time to make a change, and there is no better way than making goals for success.

Appreciate Everything

Sometimes we just need to sit down, kick back, unwind, and enjoy the wonderful world that we live in. Americans today get so caught up in school, sports, and other activities that we forget to appreciate life. We live in such a beautiful country with mountains, beaches, rivers, and streams, this workshop will teach young leaders how to step back from their busy lives and appreciate the simple things that so many of us take for granted. We want kids to be thankful for their friends, their families, and the wonderful opportunities that they have been given. Many kids never sit down and realize how wonderful they have it, and how fortunate they are to live in a country were they have the ability to determine their future.

Power of Words

A good picture can speak a thousand words, but a good song could change the world! Words can be interpreted and perceived in such powerful ways; therefore words are the most influential form of communication. In this workshop, we will use songs to show teens the depth and power of words. This is a very motivational workshop and will teach kids the significance of effective communication. From Buffalo Springfield to Dave Matthews, we want to explain and interpret the deep meaning of songs, and the values that they play in American Society.

Risk And Be Optimistic

The American Dream defined by Scott F. Fitzgerald, is one of passion, love, hope, and success. In order to obtain any of those characteristics, one must learn to be a risk taker. Life is just one giant challenge. It is not worth sitting on the sidelines forever, we want to teach kids the values of taking risks and maintaining a positive outlook through life's ups and downs. Leaders have courage. That is what separates the risk takers from the unsuccessful. Everyone has the opportunity to change the world; you just have to take the risk. Life is too short just sit back and enjoy the ride; you can make the world a better place. Fight for what you believe in!

Love What You Do

Happiness, is defined as a feeling of satisfaction toward something that is right, or has been done right. Millions of people everyday wake up into a world where they are unhappy. Whatever path you take, whatever decision you make, do not ever look back. Be happy with your decision and love what you do. It is not about the money, the houses, the hours, it is all about your passion. We want to teach kids to live for the moment, and be happy with whatever life brings to them each day. This workshop teaches teens to make the right decisions towards their future by helping them decide what they love and what they want to do with their lives.

Business Is Just A Game

It can all change with just a roll of the dice. Business is a fast paced up and down roller coaster ride, one minute you are at the top sitting on Boardwalk and the next minute you are sitting on a Railroad owing 200 dollars. We want to teach kids that business truly is a game; one needs to learn to be flexible and able to adapt to any changes and to always continue on the road to success. We will show teens how to make the right decisions during good times and right decisions during bad times. Business is not supposed to become a way to survive, but a way to thrive. In this workshop we will stress entrepreneurship and the ways to begin a successful journey in the business world. Business is just a game but once you pass go it all starts over!

Rise To The Challenge

Everyday before one hears a single compliment, they are shut down and plastered with 11 forms of negativity and put-downs. If this continues people will begin losing all of their drive to accomplish goals and stay motivated. Leaders Across America is ready to end this bad cycle and teach kids to, "Rise To The Challenge." There is not enough time in each day to focus on negativity, kids need to have the power and mindset to take on any obstacle and achieve greatness. This workshop will show kids how to brush off the put-downs, and erase the, "I can't attitude," from their brains. To become a great leader or an American success story, it all starts with one step, rising to the challenge.

Essentials To Networking

It is all about whom you know, having contacts, and being affiliated with organizations that can only help open doors into the networking world. Having contacts will help you with job searching, fundraising, or even starting up a business. We want to teach teens the power of having references and the beneficial magnitude of being involved in clubs and organizations. Maintaining a contact is just as important as forming a new one. The impression you make on someone will last a lifetime, and we want to teach kids the value of business relationships. The real world is cruel and dangerous, but when getting started and opening a new chapter it never hurts to have a few networking contacts to help you along the way.

Getting Your Foot in The Door

Initially the hardest part of starting a business, or climbing the job trail, is getting your foot in the door. We want to teach teens the values of having a smart business persona, and how to coast through the beginning stages of entrepreneurship. Knowing how to solve a problem and being at the right place at the right time can be the difference of a promotion and a pink slip. We want to bestow our business knowledge to teens, and convey to them the importance of being persistent, getting their foot in the door, and start walking in the right direction. First impressions are the most important form of conveying your assets and we want to help teens learn to get their foot in the door.

Organizing Your Life

Franklin Covey's company slogan is defined as, "Keeping your day organized and living an effective life." Prioritization, time management, and budgeting everyday events, are three focal points in living a productive life style. In this workshop, we want to teach teens the significance of living an organized life. It is important to us to stress the magnitude of staying on top of things. How to prioritize important events and everyday situations is substantial in a leadership role. You can only watch so many episodes of MTV, before you start forgetting about everything that is important in life, like family, friends, and recreation.

Leadership Is An Art

Every painting starts out as a blank piece of canvas. Art means nothing until it has been developed. With oils, pastels, creative designs, and a name, art can form into one of the most complex forms of human symbolism, much like leadership. Leadership is an extremely complex word, and like art it does take watercolors, oil, and pastels to create something magical. Leadership requires the entire package. Through an artistic vision, this workshop will display the little things that form together to create this complex word, "Leadership."

Ethics Is Ethics

Everyday we are faced with critical decisions that must be made, it is up to us to decide whether or not each decision is right. Ethics is the study of moral standards and how they affect appropriate conduct. In business having good ethical principles are key. In this workshop we want to stress that having a successful company without moral principles is cruel and wrong. Living your life with good ethics is a success in and of itself. In troubling situations business owners are sometimes faced with the easy way out, this is not however always the ethical way out. We want to teach kids to live their lives by making positive ethical choices that will in turn affect their future. Sometimes unethical decisions may be hard to stray a way from, but in order to be successful one must have a deep understanding of ethical principle.

Goals Are Assets

Goals are just like long-term investments; sometimes it can be extremely beneficial to open up the portfolio and balance one's assets and liabilities. An asset is defined as something that is useful and contributes to the success of something. Goals are assets, and having goals can be the best investment somebody can make. In this workshop, we want to explains to teens the power of goal setting and why setting goals is so important. Liabilities will always cause pain and stress on one's checkbook, but having lofty goals are positive ways of creating assets, and beginning a successful journey. Having goals and setting goals, is one of the best forms of financial advice that one can give to another.

Project Globe

As the population is booming, as the temperatures are rising, as fuel sources are dwindling, as hurricanes are becoming stronger, American's are beginning to realize the warning signs and the necessity for starting to protect the environment and our globe. As leaders of tomorrow, we want to begin opening our young ones' minds into the seriousness of their future. Lack of education is the biggest downfall in awareness of global affairs. Teens need to realize what the world is going to be like in 50 years if we keep living the same way that we do. We live on a much too beautiful planet to want to destroy it. It is time that we begin teaching kids about the environment and the impact it can have on their future.
